Construction and Appearance
The Master Cook Outdoor BBQ stands on reliable casters dressed in a silver and black frame. A durable stainless steel lid and control panel sits above a double-door storage cabinet. At its sides, rest black painted shelves, one with a covered burner, and the other with utensil hooks. The thermometer-mounted lid and cabinet have stainless steel handles.
From the rear of the storage cabinet, a large opening gives access to the grease pan that sits beneath the firebox. A space for the propane tank waits at the bottom of the grill.
Fact and Figures
On the control panel, users want to see the natural gas grill safely. The flames from the burners emit a continuous blue color, which means the fire is hot and pure. If the flame produces any color other than blue, it means soot or liquid has mixed with the flame. This does not mean that the flame is not hot, but it wants to prevent it from producing even temperatures.
The Master Cook Outdoor BBQ weighs 76 pounds and measures 56.3″ tall. It spans 43.9″ wide and as a depth of 21.” The 4-burner grill delivers 36,000 BTUs over the primary cooking area. A covered side burner generates 12,000 BTUs and holds a maximum weight of 15 pounds. The grilling space is 400 square inches in the main cooking area. A warming rack provides a secondary cooking space of 118 square inches. The grates and the rack have a porcelain enamel coating. Solid stainless steel construction increases its chance of withstanding the elements. Unfortunately, this grill does not convert to natural gas.
The manufacturer gave a great deal of attention to the design of the Master Cook Outdoor BBQ. Besides its stylish exterior, it features four durable stainless steel tube burners that light by an integrated piezo-electric ignition. The piezo ignition fires up the flames quickly on the BBQ grill, delivering even temperatures that users can manage with the burner controls.
The Master Cook BBQ generates plenty of heat. The main burners alone produce up to 36,000 BTUs, which is comparable to grills from competitors. The flames shooting from the top-ported stainless steel burners produce stable blue heat to cook food quickly and evenly, regardless of the temperature settings.
Cast iron cooking grates allow for easy searing and offer excellent heat retention to lock in flavors and juices. The grates need no seasoning and clean easily. Durable parts continue to operate, even with prolonged and frequent use.
In addition to storing the liquid propane tank, the two-door cabinet has room for grilling tools, sauces, and wood chips. The cabinet has a fixed hole for simple tank installation. To enhance the grilling experience, a lid thermometer provides an accurate temperature reading.
